BEHAVIOUR GUIDANCE IN THE QURAN

“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from his way, and he is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.” 16:125

“And do not argue with the people of the scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, ‘We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to him.” 29:46

“Allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allah hearing and knowing.” 4:148

“And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart [about] all those [one] will be questioned.” 17:36

“Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when he produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; he is most knowing of who fears him.” 53:32

“And do not approach the orphan’s property except in a way that is best [i.e., intending improvement] until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge and soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you speak [i.e., testify], be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has he instructed you that you may remember.” 6:152

“And as for the petitioner, do not repel.” 93:10

“ O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name [i.e., mention] of disobedience after [one’s] faith. And whoever does not repent them it is those who are the wrongdoers. ” “O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And don not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is accepting of repentance and merciful.” 49:11-12

“Woe to every scorner and mocker.” 104:1

“But if they endeavor to make you associate with me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to me [ in repentance]. Then to me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do.” 31:15

“Say, [O Muhammad], to those who have believed that they [should] forgive those who expect not the days of Allah [i.e., of his retribution] so that he may recompense a people for what they used to earn.” 45:14

“And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive.” 42:37

“And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned [i.e., deserved] have certainly born upon themselves a slander and manifest sin.” 33:58

“And the retribution for an evil act is and evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, he does not like wrong doers.” 42:40

“And give the relative his right, and [also] the poor and the traveler, and do not spend wastefully.” “Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever has Satan been to this lord ungrateful.” “And if you [must] turn away from them [i.e., the needy] awaiting mercy from your lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word.” “And don not make your hand [as] chained to your neck or extend it completely and [thereby] become blamed and insolvent.” 17:26-29

“The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position] of their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the book inscribed.” 33:6

“Allah does not forbid you from those who don not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” 60:8
